Hazara United Movement held a Free Immigration Workshop in London.

Apropos to the previously communicated official circular of HUM, this organisation held a Free Immigration Workshop on Sunday (15-07-2012) in East London where Hazara youths belonging to different cities of the UK including Birmingham, Coventry, Southend on Sea, Liverpool, Leeds, Manchester, Milton Keynes and Enfield, Ilford, Peckham participated in the event.

The participants had one on one cordial meeting with a certified solicitor of a UK-based firm. Although the Workshop was to start at 14:00 hours, the participants were keen enough to arrive at the venue one hour early. The participants were formally enlightened about the changing immigration rules which may have an impact on their cases.

Liaquat Ali Hazara conducted the Workshop to welcome the participants and describe the purpose of holding such event. The participants thanked HUM for its social activities and assured of their full cooperation in the prospective events provided that they are invited.

During the course of the event, it was ascertained that the participants, due to lack of changes in immigration rules, have had technical obstacles which could have otherwise been resolved should they have sought legal advice in time.

The Chairman HUM, Liaquat Ali Hazara, also thanked the solicitor to take time out of busy schedule to provide congenial atmoshphere for the participants to seek advice. The zeal and enthusiasm of the participants assured that another such Workshop should be held in near future in order that the people who could not attend the event be provided with an equal opportunity to put forward their cases and seek tailored legal advice.
