Hazara United Movement (HUM) – an umbrella political organisation working for the rights of Hazaras – was pioneered and founded by dedicated and committed Hazara youth in London, United Kingdom on 27-02-2012. HUM is the first Hazara Political Organisation outside Pakistan and Afghanistan to be registered with the Electoral Commission, England and Wales.
There are plans to open its branches in countries where the Hazaras have been enshrined constitutional and legal rights to contest general elections in order to form unify different segments of the Hazara Nation under one platform. This will also emanate a sense of political centralism to bring awareness among them about their political, social, cultural and educational rights.
